Albatros is a rice variety with exceptional yield in all growing environments. Its biometric characters are halfway between those of the Long A
and Long B types.
Much appreciated by the industry due to its low amylose content and very fast parboiling times. Avoid excessive applications of nitrogen fertilizers, which can cause leaf damage. In very fertile environments, protect the crop with appropriate fungicide treatments.
