Almo’s continuing desire to improve has allowed it
to create an outstanding round rice variety for sushi
called Castore.
Castore immediately proved to be a variety with
exceptional characteristics:
• excellent resistance to bending
• good production
• high yield after industrial processing
• high resistance to pecky rice
• good adaptability to underground sowing
Fungicide treatments are recommended to protect
the crop, especially if grown in very fertile soil.
